Natural Resources
Everything that surrounds us is collectively termed as the environment. Environment acts as a life support system for us, since it is from the environment that we get food to eat, water to drink, air to breathe and all other requirements of our day-to-day life.
हमें घेरने वाली हर चीज को सामूहिक रूप से पर्यावरण की संज्ञा दी जाती है। पर्यावरण हमारे लिए एक जीवन समर्थन प्रणाली के रूप में कार्य करता है, क्योंकि यह पर्यावरण से है कि हमें खाने के लिए भोजन, पीने के लिए पानी, सांस लेने के लिए हवा और हमारे दिन-प्रतिदिन के जीवन की अन्य सभी आवश्यकताएं हैं।
Biosphere and Natural Resources
Biosphere means regions of Earth's crust and atmosphere occupied by the living organism. Biosphere can be divided into three physical divisions- land or lithosphere, water or hydrosphere and air or atmosphere.
Lithosphere is the outer solid crust of Earth which we call land. Its upper weathered part fprms the soil.
बायोस्फीयर का अर्थ है पृथ्वी की पपड़ी और वायुमंडल में रहने वाले जीवों के कब्जे वाले क्षेत्र। बायोस्फीयर को तीन भौतिक विभाजनों में विभाजित किया जा सकता है- भूमि या स्थलमंडल, जल या जलमंडल और वायु या वायुमंडल।
लिथोस्फीयर पृथ्वी की बाहरी ठोस परत है जिसे हम भूमि कहते हैं। इसका ऊपरी मौसम वाला हिस्सा मिट्टी बनाता है।
Hydrosphere is the water component of Earth. 75% of the Earth's surface covered with water in the form of rivers, seas, lakes, ponds, impoundments (= reservoirs), dams, etc.
Underground water is another component of the hydrosphere.
Atmosphere is the blanket of air that covers the whole Earth.
पृथ्वी की सतह का 75% हिस्सा नदियों, समुद्रों, झीलों, तालाबों, अशुद्धियों (= जलाशयों), बांधों, आदि के रूप में पानी से ढंका है।
भूमिगत जल जलमंडल का एक अन्य घटक है।
वायुमंडल हवा का कंबल है जो पूरी पृथ्वी को कवर करता है।
