         Guru Nanak, the first Guru of Sikhs, was born on April 15, 1469, in Nankana, Talawandi, Pakistan. He said to be the founder of Sikhism. Guru Nanak believed in non-violence. He loved peace and brotherhood. He was a great reformer. He took part in the Bakhti Movement. He always stood for Hindu-Muslim unity. He preached the oneness of God.
